Time: Opening through the first 60–90 minutes for cooler walking, active animals, and the shortest Panda Ridge, Skyfari, and bus lines. · After about 3 p.m., especially on weekdays, when high-demand areas and transport lines usually ease. · Summer late afternoon for lower heat; use shade and carry water.
Avoid: Avoid severe rain or high heat if your group cannot manage a long outdoor hill walk, or days when a must-see habitat or Skyfari is posted closed.

Skip or choose the Safari Park instead if you have only 90 minutes, need a fully flat day without mobility assistance, or mainly want expansive savanna views.
